On May 28–30, 2019 in Moscow, at Crocus Expo exhibition center, the next specialized exhibition "Meat & Poultry Industry" will take place. Its participants, Russian and foreign producers of poultry meat, eggs, pork, suppliers of equipment, nutrition and veterinary products, will present innovative technologies, equipment and promising developments in the field of agriculture.
For recent years the agro-industrial market in Russia has been developing dynamically: the volumes of grain, fodder, meat and dairy products are increasing. According to Rosstat, in 2018 the growth of the agro-industrial complex amounted to 2.3%. To implement the country's food safety program, there are launched large-scale investment projects for the construction of new complexes that require modern equipment and raw materials: micro and macro components, veterinary preparations, as well as solutions for processing, packaging and delivery of agricultural products to the consumer. Exhibitors will become familiar with domestic and foreign innovations in these areas. Applications for the presentation of technologies have already been sent by companies from Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Israel, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, China, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, USA, Turkey, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, South Korea, Japan.
For a highly competitive environment formed in the Russian agro-industrial complex it is typical to have increased attention to the problems of production safety, reduction in production costs, as well as innovations in processing and packaging of products for fast delivery to consumers. Responding to the market challenges, the exhibiting companies-participants will present innovative process solutions for high-quality processing and delivery of products to the counter or restaurant.
Within the framework of the business program, there will be held the "Agrarian Policy of Russia: present and future" summit. Its participants will discuss topical issues related to state support for the production of meat and alternative sources of protein, as well as prospects for the development of agro-industrial complex in the context of safety, product quality and export potential of the industry.
For the first time, the exhibition will create a business space for negotiations - the Roundtable Area where partners will be able to discuss business issues in an informal setting.
Also, the exhibition guests are welcomed to Discover Russian Cuisine – a unique professional gastronomic show. The goal of this project which started in 2017 is to increase the awareness and popularization of Russian products. Eminent chefs from different countries of the world will prepare dishes from Russian products provided by the companies participating in the project. Participation in this project will help Russian manufacturers to achieve their export potential and to find contacts for business development in the HoReCa segment. Also, category managers of trade networks from Moscow and regions will be invited to the show. They will be able to familiarize themselves with the presented products of manufacturing companies at a special project site – Gastromarket.
The "Meat & Poultry Industry" exhibition has been regularly held since 2001. In 2017, this important industry event was attended by 7,500 agricultural specialists from 79 countries of the world and 73 regions of Russia. Nariner Bagmanyan, the head of Asti Group, the exhibition organizer, said: "We have created a strong Russian foundation with broad support for the exhibition and we intend to improve this project in future making it a large-scale exhibition event where Russian and foreign companies will be able to familiarize themselves with innovations, to negotiate and to find optimal solutions for the development of agricultural sector of economy."
